MangalSutra

Our Foundation is devoted towards solving a major problem of marriage of daughters of extremely poor who are unable to do so due to extreme poverty.

A Mass Marriage initiative (Samuhik Vivah) of daughters of extremely poor families.
A flagship initiative by Good Work Foundation and its volunteers.
Apart from Delhi NCR, Our goal is to take this noble initiative to other states very soon.

Target Beneficiaries:

Daughters of extremely poor parents
Widow’s daughter
Disabled girls
Daughter of a disabled guardian,
Widow and divorcee (remarriage)

Our foundation bears all expenses of event organization:

Bridal cloths, some jewelry, Pandal, decorations, food , transport & other marriage materials. Apart from this a small amount is credited to bride’s bank account for happy beginning of her married life.

Screen Time

War against Digital Epidemic

Half the world’s population is expected to be short-sighted (myopic) by 2050, with one of the main factors being over-use of electronic devices & technology. This is very very scary posing a great threat to the future of mankind.

Nowadays kids, teenagers, and professionals are spending minimum 7-10 hrs a day on smartphones, tabs, PCs, laptops and gaming consoles.
The bad news is that this has become a new normal among kids and children.

Too much exposure of eyes at early stage of kids has huge fear of multiple eye complications including permanent vision loss/blindness.

Save Eyes Save Children Save Future

What is the solution?

The best solution is Reduce Screen Time as much as possible.

Apart from this we can do followings:

Follow Rule 202020. Give frequent break to your eyes from close-up focus on screen. Why? Blue radiations from the screens cause a glaring effect and strain on the eye cells.
Do eye exercise at short intervals.
Take healthy diets for good eye sight
Proper sleep to give rest to eyes and rejuvenate eye cells and tissues.

Good Work Foundation, in association with startups, has launched pan India campaign to increase awareness among kids, students, parents and professionals about adverse effects of exposure of digital screens on eyes.

Orphans & Blinds

There are more than 30 million orphans in India.
Nearly 40 million people in India, including 1.6 million children, are blind or visually impaired.

Such a big number and such a Great Cause.
This needs major attention of all of us.
Govt alone can’t achieve any major success to

Good Work Foundation has collaborated with so many NGOs who are working for orphans and blinds.

Good work foundation has partnered with Shopify to launch an online store. All revenue and profits would be for Charity and Causes targeted to orphans and blinds.

Brilliant but Poor

Identifying extremely talented poor students from all over country who have no means so that such talents should not waste.

Old age home

Old age needs your care just like a small baby

Helping elders/ senior citizens who are helpless. Help them live with dignity.

Good Work Foundation has set an ambitious target to establish 700+ old age homes all over India with the support of corporate and people.(approximately one big charitable old age home in each district of country)

Good Work Foundation has collaborated with so many NGOs who are working in the field of old age care homes in different states. We have also partnered with strartups and corporates to raise funds through CSR for this noble cause and help as much as We Can.
